
Investigating Australia
The Australia-Korea Foundation has produced the CD-ROM Investigating Australia for use in Korean elementary and high schools. Its aim is to help young Koreans learn about aspects of Australia by exploring real people and places in a way that is engaging and interactive.
The CD-ROM consists of five video segments with exercises and activities that young people can interact with to find out about life in Australia. There are interactive maps, diagrams photographs and charts You can enter notes into a special notebook, practice your English and access special activities on the website www.auskorea.com.
The CD-ROM is available in Korean or English, and is based on the approved curriculum in the Korean education system. It has been developed by Ryebuck Media with the assistance of a panel of Korean teachers and educational experts. Please contact the team at Ryebuck Media for further information.
Much of the content from the CD-ROM (and the original Investigate Australia multimedia resource kit) has been updated and included on this website.

A Snapshot of Australia
The video segments briefly show everyday scenes from all parts of Australia, Australian people in a variety of settings, the culture of Australia, the economy, Australia's geography and the lifestyles of young people. It also shows Korean contacts with Australia, including some Korean people living and working here.
Explore the land, people and lifestyle of modern Australia and find out about the Australia-Korea connections. You can then interact with the interactive Atlas of Australia.

My Island Home
